Name Trifluoromethyl trifluorovinyl ether
Name in Chinese 全氟甲基乙烯基醚(PMVE)
Application Perfluoromethyl vinyl ether (PMVE) is a fluorinated vinyl ether copolymer monomer and a key raw material for synthesizing specialty fluoropolymers and modified fluoropolymers. The fluoropolymers produced from it exhibit excellent resistance to acids and alkalis as well as high- and low-temperature performance; molded products are widely used as seals in demanding applications such as the nuclear industry, aviation and aerospace, chemical manufacturing, pipeline transportation, and the semiconductor industry. In addition, PMVE serves as an important raw material for the synthesis of the novel pesticide dibenzofluorourea.
